You're safe. You're not.
This is a short one. I talk about this at every event lately. So to close the subject, here it is. A quick note on a sentiment that is rampant.
The industry is scared. AI is coming for the job.
This is not new. Every few years something arrives to threaten creative people. A tool. A platform. A trend. The panic looks the same every time. Maybe a bit worse this time.
Some people in this industry are calm right now. Not because they're in denial. Because they've been here before and they know something the rest of the room doesn't.
They have hands. They carry a crown. They can do something better than almost anyone else can, and that thing cannot be faked, shortcut, or generated. A director who can actually direct. A writer who can actually do the thing, duh! Write. A designer who can ... you know how it goes, not assemble. When you can do the thing, at the level few can, the ground doesn't move under you. It never has.
Everyone else is exposed. If your value was ever the process, the templates, the deck, the meetings, the title, that value is going. AI can do it all buddy. But It cannot carry the crown.
So no, You, the second one, you're not safe. Unless you build something no tool can touch.
You're not safe. Get a crown.
Side note.
My mom used to say it differently: "Si no tiene manos pal piano, búsquese otra cosa."
